At Connolly Cannabis, I’m not just here to consult—I’m here to roll up my sleeves and help you build something that lasts. With over a decade in the cannabis industry and exposure to every facet of operations, I bring experience and insight that few others can match. From cultivation and manufacturing to retail and commercialization, I’ve been in the trenches solving problems, building systems, and driving results. Coupled with my roots in supply chain management, I know how to make businesses not just survive, but thrive.
I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in this industry. I’ve worked at the highest levels, scaling companies like MedMen from a tiny startup to a billion-dollar giant, but I’ve also seen firsthand the mistakes that have put so many cannabis businesses out of commission. My goal is simple: to help organizations avoid those pitfalls and build smart, sustainable operations that can weather the ups and downs of this unpredictable market.
What makes me different is that I’ve done it all. I’ve led nearly every operational department: cultivation, extraction, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, retail, and more. That kind of hands-on experience across the entire supply chain is rare in this industry, and it gives me a big-picture view of how to make every piece of your business work together.
I’m scrappy and solutions-oriented—I don’t just hand over a PowerPoint and call it a day. Whether it’s stabilizing a struggling retail store, overhauling your inventory management, or rolling out a multi-location expansion, I get my hands dirty to make sure the work gets done. At the same time, I’m a seasoned executive who knows how to lead teams, create scalable systems, and deliver professional results.
I’ve been doing this for a decade, and in that time, I’ve built some of the most recognizable names in cannabis. At MedMen, I was there from the beginning—helping scale a 20-person company with one retail location into the largest cannabis operator in the U.S., with a $1.6 billion valuation. As COO of Coastal, I stabilized their flagship store, turned their operations around, and helped position them for acquisition by TPCO. At Red Workshop, I navigated the complexities of managing multiple assets under different contracts, optimizing operations for profitability. And with Dodi, a cannabis brand owned by NFL legend Marshawn Lynch, I revitalized the brand, improved sales, and laid the groundwork for expansion into new markets.
Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of consulting for some truly incredible clients across the U.S. Each one brought unique challenges and opportunities, from small startups looking for their first foothold to established operators needing a complete overhaul. No two businesses were the same. Different needs, different operational hurdles, and different visions of success. That’s what makes this work so exciting and fulfilling for me.
Some projects were about tackling big, strategic challenges, like scaling a single retail store into a thriving chain of locations or preparing a company for acquisition. Others were smaller but just as meaningful, like stabilizing inventory systems or fine-tuning a brand story to better connect with customers. No matter the scope, I approached every client with the same mindset: roll up my sleeves, dig into the details, and deliver solutions that truly work.
I’ve helped businesses navigate some of the toughest aspects of the cannabis industry; brand launches, compliance issues, inventory management overhaul, team restructuring, supply chain optimization, and more. I’ve worked with clients who were just starting to build their operations and others who needed to reimagine their approach to stay competitive. Along the way, I’ve seen the highs and lows of this business, and those experiences have given me the tools to help clients avoid the common pitfalls that can derail even the best ideas.
What drives me is knowing that every project is an opportunity to make a real difference, not just in the numbers, but in how a business operates, grows, and sustains itself. Whether the job is big or small, I’m all in, bringing everything I’ve learned over the last decade to the table. Every client I’ve worked with has taught me something new, and I’m proud to say that I’ve left each one better equipped to succeed in this tough but rewarding industry.
This industry is not for the faint of heart. It’s tough, it’s fast, and it’s full of landmines. But I’ve been here for the long haul because I thrive on solving hard problems and building businesses that work. I bring the grit and determination to tackle messy operations and turn them into something scalable, but I also have the professionalism and strategic insight to operate at the highest levels of leadership.
I’m here to help you navigate the challenges of this market, avoid the mistakes I’ve seen over the last ten years, and build a business that’s set up for long-term success. Whether you need to stabilize, scale, or completely reinvent your operations, I’m ready to get to work.
